| im mulan. thank you for ure comments ^^ just jOkinG. my name ish nataLie and when my mum first brang the mulan dvd hOme i was like, 'hOw gay!'. but nOw, im the biggest mulAn freak evA! many chinese people have there own version of mulan, and i watched some of the movies they made, but i like disney version the most!they did change some things that were 'meant' to happen like how she was revealed while at war. and of course there is no mushu in the chinese ancient stories, but he sooo soo funny! im not sure the ancient chinese eva had li shang in their storie..im not sure..i think she did fell in love with a soilder but im not sure if it was the captain..if any1 know can they send me an email? thx heaps. i watched mulan many times but i neva get sik of it. i was so excited when the second movie came out, it was good and cute but i like the original more ^^. out of all the disneys movies i like mulan the most, and no, not becoz im azn! its becoz shes has the most real personality out of all the disney women (cinderella, snow white..). nO body knOw weather mulan is real or not as its too long ago. many dont believe shes real, but y not believe she is. y not believe there was such a brave young woman once out there who beant all the laws to save her country. maybe she not real. but i like to think she is. =] | |

| I really think Mulan was a great movie!^^ It didn't follow the poem very much but the Little Mermaid didn't follow the real story either and no one can say the Little Mermaid wasn't great! GO MULAN!^^ | |

| The movie, "Mulan," seemed to combine as much power and love as any other animated film that Disney has produced. The tale of Fa Mulan going into war, decieving her commanding officer, Captain Li Shang, to save her father's life. What more can you ask from a girl? Her figure was made to be like that, I suppose, since the armour fit perfectly, and didn't reveal any womanly secrets. It combined the comedical forms of sadness and justice, seeing as women weren't allowed into army at the time, and were just ordinary housewives. The emperor himself made the law, and the emperors before him made the law. All in all, "Mulan," is a very great movie; the songs (especially "Reflection" sung by Lea SaLonga) were well-sung. Everything was perfect. | |

| For me, my favorite movie of all is MULAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It really really rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am 14 years old, and recently, wanting to refresh my memory I saw Mulan, it had been my favorite childhood movie, and now that I am more mature I took to analyze it and found many interesting things. For some rude people who comment rudely on the movie, here's my word: 1. Mulan's eyes are overslanted- come ON!!!! They are perfectly fine for me, she and the rest of the characters!! 2. Mulan is ugly- The one who says that is the Ugly one! For me, Mulan was extremly pretty. I like it that they made her frame just right. SHe wasn't the typical, with big breasts and all that. Nop. She was petite, with small curves at her fronts and bottom that the armor could easily hide. Her face was gorgeous, but it had some certain facts that made her pass for a young man, when she pulls up her hair. (For me, the shape of her ears were a fact, see how they look bigger and more masculine when her hair is short and up?) 3. This is NOT a racist movie. Now, I have always wanted to present my very own special comment on a certain thing in the movie, the relationship between Fa Mulan and Li Shang. ( This will be long...) Now, when Mulan (as Ping) first sees him, she is well, stunned. She is sooo nervous about being discovered that she focuses more on acting like a man that she does not really analize the young man (and handsome for an animated character he he) that is her captain. Oh, and their ages? I estimate Mulan to be around 16 years old, and Shang from 18 to a just-turned 20 years old. The next day is when my brain tells me that things are heating up for our Mulan. When Shang goes up to the group to begin training and takes of his shirt, we see the oh-my-gosh-what-a-hottie-look in Mulan's eyes. How many of us teenagers felt warm and giggly when we saw a totally hooked Mulan checking out a shirtless Shang. I swear if Shang would not have shot the arrow to the pole and instruct Yao to go get it and bring everyone back into focus she would have started to drool. So, further into the movie, in the part where Shang goes into the tent to see and injured Ping/Mulan, Mulan accidentaly sits up without covering her front, which is wrapped around in bandages, greating a form-fitting outfit that reveals her slender woman frame. (Come on he had to look somewhere to SEE TO BELIEVE that Ping was actually a woman named Mulan. I am sorry but it's very late and I have to go but I will contimue soon! | |

| OH....my...gosh..I LOVE MULAN!!!!It is my fav movie of all time.I remember the first time i saw it.It made me feel like i was worth something that women were worth something.OH and SHANG....YIKES!!!!..break me off a piece of that kitt kat bar..he he..I remember the firsr time i ever saw shang with out his shirt off.I was eating popcorn and he walked up to the group and took off his shirt.I choaked on my popcorn and feel off my chair...After i recovered from the fall and lack of oxy i just sat on the floor with my mouth on the ground...My little sis did the same thing egsept she dident fall off her chair she just choaked.But anyway.I rate this movie 14/14 Four over the limitt, Bye | |
